About the Role:

 
We are seeking a Commercial Manager reporting to the Commercial Director. This role will manage the structure of our wind and solar developments. Engaging with industry technical experts and collaborate successfully to ensure deadlines and expectations are met.

Key Responsibilities include but not limited to:


  • Provide commercial support to ensure our portfolio are structured and delivered through to sale.
  • Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure key project and finance documents are aligned.
  • Support the due diligence process of potential acquisitions and divestments and provide commercial support across the business for any new opportunities.
  • Lead the review of key bankability concerns in each stage of the development process.
  • Ensure Business Case and supported documentation is robust, effective and targeted.
  • Lead and manage the commercial requirements for the project closing process with project management of all deliverables, including the key commercial and project risks.
  • Be an exemplary role model to encourage the avoidance of risk-taking behaviours across the business and provide the personal commitment never to “risk it”.


Skills & Experience:
 
  • Understanding of Australian energy markets and the role of renewable energy in the transition to Net Zero.
  • Broad range of strategic, commercial and technical skills, including an understanding of energy value chain economics, financial evaluations, business case preparation, and data interpretation.
  • Ability to structure and negotiate commercial deals to optimise risk/reward and deliver best value.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills to communicate effectively and manage deadlines
  • Experience working in a highly effective and high performing team.
  • Degree in numerate or business subjects.
