Summary:
The Craft – Concrete Finisher is responsible for performing a variety of tasks including forming, placing, finishing, protecting, repairing concrete, and tying rebar.
Requirements:
• Uses a variety of craft techniques and all tools pertaining to the trade, including placing and finishing the concrete.
• Operates hand saws, heavy and light equipment, skid steer, trucks, backhoe, and forklift.
• Operates air compressors, jackhammers, rotary-operated sump pumps, and tampers, including all hand tools.
• Services and makes minor repairs in the maintenance of equipment.
• Layout foundations of off baseline/centerlines with theodolite.
• Installs rebar and anchor bolt installation, form setting, placing, and finishing concrete.
• Assists all crafts as necessary in a variety of other tasks, as assigned.

• Presents, supports, and leads-by-example with a safety and quality-oriented attitude.
Safety:
• Ensures that safety is the most important function and follows safe practices while working.
• Reinforces safe behaviors and eliminates “at risk” behaviors.
• Ensures Job Hazard Analysis (JHAs) occurs before scopes of work commence.
• Adheres to and understands standard operating procedures.
• Receives job- and task-specific training prior to work commencing.
• Follows technical, quality, and safety systems in place and determines appropriate action.
• Reports potentially unsafe conditions and uses materials and equipment properly.
• Attends work regularly and punctually, as scheduled or expected.
• Complies with Employee Handbook, Code of Conduct and Company Policies & Procedures.
Qualifications:
• High School Diploma/GED required.
• 2 or more years of heavy construction experience required.
• Ability to travel domestically 76-100% required.
• Ability to operate vehicles and equipment associated with the concrete trade.
• Familiar with safety rules, OSHA, and first aid procedures.
• Pier drilling and foundation excavation is a plus.
• Functional competencies include attention to detail, communication, casting the right shadow, accountability, and ethics and integrity.
Anticipated Salary Range: $22.00 - $26.00
The final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location.
Per Diem of $100.00 daily to cover lodging, meals and travel during rotation.

Frequently exposed to extreme heat, humidity, noise, hazards and vibration in the working environment.
