Nous contacterA student from Exeter University is celebrating after being awarded a prize from the world’s largest independent renewable energy company in recognition of her professionalism and dedication during her studies.
Megan Monkman, MEng Energy Engineering graduate received the 2021 ‘Power for Good’ prize and £100 cash. The awarding committee praised Megan for her contributions which went far beyond the syllabus, taking on leadership roles in extra-curricular activities, and for seeking to provide a strong student voice through the Staff-Student Liaison committee.
Megan Monkman, MEng Energy Engineering graduate said: “It’s an honour to receive this award and I look forward to taking the skills recognised here forward to make a real difference in the field of renewable energy”.
Scott Hutchins, Senior Asset Manager at RES, said: “The renewable energy industry is one of great opportunity and students like Megan, who has demonstrated the professionalism and undoubted talent throughout her four years at university, will certainly play an important role in our industry.
