RES WIN Health and Safety Team of the Year at SHE Awards

We are excited to announce that RES are the winner of the Health and Safety Team of the Year at the 2022 Safety and Health Excellence (SHE) Awards held on Wednesday evening 6^th April.

The SHE Awards celebrate innovation and achievements in health and safety and winning is deserved recognition of RES’ dedication to safety in all areas of the business.

Hugh Dennis, the well-known actor and comedian, kept his humour carefully safe for the occasion, and presented the award to the RES team of Simon Deacon, Ian McCallum CMIOSH., Jessica Ferguson, Slav Litwin, Anne Anderson and Lynsey Stewart.

The win in the Team category is especially prestigious as the Team award is sponsored by NEBOSH, the UK-based National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health.

Michael Sinclair-Williams, Group HSQE Director was delighted. “Winning the Team SHE Award is a fantastic achievement for RES. Safety is one of our core strategic objectives and achieving market leading safety performance is something everyone at RES works towards. Winning is confirmation of the great strides we are making towards this goal”.

Over the past few years the HSQE team have supported the leadership and wider business, to reduce our incident frequency rate. On 12^th May we will be holding another company wide ‘Don’t Risk It’ Safety Focus Event where two and half thousand people globally will stand down for the day to take part in a day of activities to enhance RES safety culture.
