Contact usRES’ 1GW Tallawang solar-battery energy storage project, located in New South Wales has been acquired by Enel Green Power Australia (EGPA).
Located in the New South Wales Government-designated Central-West Orana Renewable Energy Zone (REZ), the Tallawang hybrid project comprises of 500 MWac solar farm and 500 MW / 1000 MWh battery energy storage system. Strategically placed close to key transmission infrastructure; the project is located on a 1,300-hectare site, approximately 8km north-west of Gulgong in the Mid-West Regional Council area.

- Enel Green Power Australia (EGPA) is a joint venture company co-owned by Enel Green Power and INPEX Renewable Energy Australia Pty Ltd.
- Completion of the acquisition is subject to typical conditions for transactions of this nature, including Foreign Investment Review Board Approval.
- The delivery timeframe for the project will be aligned with the delivery of the recently approved Central-West Orana transmission project.
